About Us
We have been in business as the Pearl Antiques since 1973 after operating as Edith Horwitz Antiques. The business was named after a street in Boulder, CO. The plan was to open a shop there. We took the name, got the business licensed and printed our forms. At that time Edith took a job teaching in Boulder and the store plan was put on hold.
Instead of a single location, we have taken to the “road” doing business all over the country. Venues included New York, Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, southern California and Denver. Frequent buying trips to Europe and throughout the US are made in order the most interesting, unique and affordable items to our inventory.
Over the years, we have acquired an extensive library of reference books, many no longer available. Our books cover all aspects of our inventory. We have discovered that there is always more for us to learn. We hope this will enable us to fully inform you about our merchandise.
We take pride in providing you with the best merchandise we can find and serving you with the best business plan. We want you to be happy and satisfied with anything you purchase from us. If you are not satisfied, let us know and we will work with you for a refund or exchange.
