Incredible Victorian Turquoise, Pearl & Rose Cut Diamond Locket Pendant

This wonderful locket has everything going for it. The gleaming pearls surrounding the piece highlights the Persian turquoise design that is interspersed with tiny rose cut diamond. The turquoise is all-original and the three discolored stones are typical of early pieces due to oils from regular handling.

A beautiful bow shape top that holds the pearl encrusted bale is fitted with 26 rose cut diamonds of varying sizes. The combination of pearls, turquoise and diamonds is outstanding.

The reverse side is fitted with a beveled glass that covers an opening that reveals a locket of blonde hair. We have not removed the cover to keep from damaging the frame. The gold has been acid tested and is guaranteed 18K.

The locket measures 2 ¼ inches long including the bale. It is 1 1/8 at its widest point. Add an elegant gold chain and you will be wearing an outstanding piece of antique jewelry in wonderful condition.
